Worship Team - Student Members

The Pleasant Dale Worship Team would like to invite students in grades 3-12 to join us in leading the church in worship.  Students who join will have an opportunity to sing from time to time with the Worship Team on Sunday mornings.

We plan to include two student members on one Sunday each month. How often you will get to participate will depend on how many students sign up. When it is your turn, I will contact you to schedule the date.

Student members of the Worship Team will need to follow the same expectations as our adult Worship Team members. These expectations are listed below.  Please review them with your parents.

Worship Team practices are on Sundays from 7:45-8:45 am. You will need to attend practice on the week that you are scheduled to sing. I will send an email with mp3s of all of the songs several days ahead of time. You will be expected to listen to the songs at home before coming to practice on Sunday.

If you are interested in being a student member of our Worship Team, please fill out the form below.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

We look forward to worshiping with you!

As a member of the Pleasant Dale Worship Team you are expected to:

1. Affirm the vows of our church:

  • I believe that Jesus is God’s Son and I receive and trust him as my Savior and Lord.

  • I will turn away from all sin and endeavor by God’s grace to live according to the example and teachings of Jesus.

  • I will be loyal to the church, upholding it by my prayers and my presence, my substance and my service.

2. Understand the role of the worship team:

  • The worship team leads the congregation in worship, rather than performing for them.

  • The worship team strives to direct the focus and attention to God, not themselves.

3. Be a respectful member of the team:

  • Come to rehearsals prepared and on time.

  • Notify the Worship Minister if you are unable to participate as scheduled.

  • Be considerate and gracious to one another, promoting unity among the team.
